Description:Tree -30 m high, buttressed, occasionally deciduous. Stipules -12 mm long, -30 mm long on opening shoots. Lamina 6-19 x 3.5-8.5 cm; petiole 15-70 mm long. Figs in large clusters on the main branches and trunk, on branching leafless twigs -25 cm long, 2.5 cm thick at the base, ripening rose-red; body 20-30 mm wide (35-50 mm, living). Male flowers ostiolar in 2-3 rings, sessile. Gall-flowers long-stalked. Female flowers sessile, red spotted. Lamina with cystoliths only on the lower side.
